Overview

The City of Miami Fire Prevention Bureau handles fire-safety inspections, construction plan review, and fire-prevention concerns within the city. Use the city bureau for city properties; Miami-Dade County is a separate authority. Ask the bureau to confirm the watch scope, notification process, and release conditions for your site.

Who can perform fire watch in Miami?

Ask City of Miami Fire Rescue to confirm who may perform the watch for your site, including required training, duties, and any local approval. A private course certificate does not by itself establish local acceptance.
